Located just 8 miles south of Hot Springs, the clear turquoise waters of Cascade Falls are truly a hidden gem! Bring a picnic and spend the day exploring the different levels of falls and soaking your feet. There is free parking at the entrance as well as a lavatory.

The Badlands National Park consists of amazing rock formations, canyons and tall spires. This unique landscape can only be seen in South Dakota!
Loop Road (Highway 240) winds past plenty of beautiful lookouts. And if you're up for a hike, many start from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center. If a boardwalk is more your thing, The Fossil Exhibit Trail is for you, with fossils on display.
The park is very large so be sure you download a map before you go and know where you're headed!
And of course the most iconic and well known monument in South Dakota is Mt. Rushmore! But don't miss the other monument (still under construction) on the way, Crazy Horse. Both are worth a visit.
